Overview

War is heading to San Diego. The fourth War Games headlined Survivor Series takes place tonight and might be the biggest one yet. For today's post, we will reveal the results of all four matches taking place. As well as our honest ratings of each.

5-on-5 Women's War Games Match

AJ Lee, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, & Iyo Sky vs Becky Lynch vs. Asuka, Becky Lynch, Kairi Sane, Lash Legend, Nia Jax

Ratings: 1 Star - Lackluster/ASS

This match was ass. That's the nicest way I could put it. What makes it so much worse is that this is a match that I was very optimistic about in the end and built up a lot of hope in the overall product in this show's packed match card. Ultimately, the match was awfully paced, the entry order was terrible, and it was really a match that lacked to showcase any of the 10 women. More on that, this was quite literally the worst way to showcase Legend. To be fair, I wasn't familiar, but I have heard of her during her time in NXT. The past few weeks she has grown on me, and she showed out in her very limited time inside the ring. One of the very few highlights of this match was the incredible chemistry between Lash and Rhea. The action-packed sequence not only showcase a bit of Lash Legend's capabilities, as well as cementing Rhea as a true wrestling soulmate with just about anyone on the roster. Moreover, the usage of some of the high caliber superstars in this match was underwhelming. Iyo Sky and Becky Lynch are historical very well performers in War Games matches, but the effect they had on tonight's contest was minimal. This is a huge letdown considering that the biggest heel in the match had little to no impact besides being the one who took the loss. Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss are no strangers to this matchup and even they did little to add excitement to this matchup.

Overall, this match was a letdown which honestly diminished my hopes for the rest of show. -Which was really high.

1-on-1 WWE Intercontinental Championship Match

John Cena (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio

Ratings 3.25 Stars - Noteworthy

Even aside from the brilliant ending courtesy Dominik Mysterio and the Greatest Female Superstar of our Generation, Liv Morgan, I think that this was a well-thought-out match. Usually, crazy over-bookings like seen in this match don't do much for me personally but this was almost the perfect case. The early fake injury bit actually got me, and it was very well done. The middle of the match following Judgment Day's interfered slowed the match just a bit but overall, it was a very great match topped off by an incredible ending.

1-on-1 WWE Women's World Championship Match

Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Nikki Bella

Rating: 2.50 Stars - Average

I don't know. I was a bit surprised. While this wasn't the greatest match ever, but for Vaquer's first title defense, it got the job done. At times the match did began to get a bit awkward or didn't hit the well in areas where it should've. But again, nothing to crazy, nothing to bad, solid match.
